Scandalous Intentions by Amanda Mariel with Review

Title: Scandalous Intentions (Ladies and Scoundrels #2)
Author: Amanda Mariel
Genre: Historical Romance, Victorian

When faced with losing his inheritance, notorious rake Lord Julian Luvington sets his sights on Lady Sara. She’s as respectable as they come, just what his father ordered. But the lady shall not be easily won.
She’s determined to marry for love or not at all, and she’ll do anything to obtain the freedom granted to men. A blackguard like Lord Luvington could destroy her hard-won reputation, but marriage to him also offers her the opportunities she can’t achieve on her own. What’s a lady to do?
When Lord Luvington refuses to abandon his pursuit, Lady Sara proposes an arrangement. Only the price may be more than either bargained for. Lady Sara could lose more than her social standing and Julian could lose his heart.

****WARNING THIS BOOK CONTAINS A FEW ADULT SITUATIONS******
This ARC was given to me for my honest review.
This is the second book in the series, but can be read as a stand alone.
Sara spent her life doing what was proper, and making sure her reputation was kept clean. Sara misses her best friend desperately. It is now her second season, and she she has no intention of picking a suitor unless she loves him. Julian has other ideas. His father has given him a month to find a proper wife, or he losses his title. Julian has his sites set on Sara. She is as proper, and upstanding as they come. It also helps he feels an attraction to her. Sara sees Julian as a rake, and will not have her good name ruined by his bad rep, Even is she is drawn to him. Will Julian be able to convince Sara to help him? Is there something more between the two of them? What really happened to ruin Julian's name? Will Sara have to give up her hearts desire, to help Julian? I found all of these answers, and you you will to in Scandalous Intentions!
I literally read this book in four hours. It was so good I couldn't put it down. I love the strong person Sara is. I love how Julian never defended his past only tried to fix the future. This book was awesome, and I can't wait for the next in this series. Amanda has an amazing way of taking you back to a time you never had the chance to see, and live it through through her characters. So with that being said I can't wait for her next adventure.
